PCV Driver Training
If you operate a bus or coach – a large passenger-carrying vehicle or PCV in official parlance – you already appreciate how important it is to have drivers of the highest professional standards.
ADS helps operators to maintain the highest levels of driving skills, meet the obligations of the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) and minimise running costs.
Fleet managers benefit from consultancy services on the required processes and documentation. The standard PCV services include:
- Driver assessment and training including driver profiling and assessment, training recommendations and training provision, and tachograph training
- Fleet services including fleet risk assessment, management and documentation reviews and tachograph analysis
Your specific needs can be covered by tailored courses, all using the highest levels of specialist expertise.
Driver CPC services. Remember, even 9-seater minibuses operated for hire and reward are covered by CPC! It affects all holders of D, D1, DE and D1E licences.
Affected drivers need to complete a minimum of 35 hours of periodic training every five years. Our courses will help to ensure you meet this requirement. Contact us or click here for full details.
Company CPC Holder
The company employing the drivers must also have the necessary person(s) with the appropriate skills and knowledge to administer the Driver CPC scheme effectively to avoid infringements being recorded, which could have serious implications for the business.
ADS have consultants who can ensure clients are fully compliant with the legislation and maximise the benefits for the business.
